Is it just me who finds it strange that that this series got a full on
MOVIE, but there was NEVER an episode that delved into HOW Bruce wayne
    BECAME Batman, OR found Robin?

by making the movie, they could expand on the limited budget they had for
the tv series..they were able to build the Batboat, Batcopter and
    Batcycle…

Julie Newmar hurt her back which is why she was not in the 1966 movie. I
loved Lee as Catwoman as she played the strictly criminal version of the
Princess of Plunder. This version was seen in the comics of the 1940’s. All
three were great in the role portraying a different side of The Catwoman.

Adam’s line says it all: “The kids loved it.” Name any other show that
appealed so strongly to adults and kids on different levels.

Thanks! And, unless you couldn’t already tell from the video, I feel the
same exact way about Batman 66.

Huh. Yeah, that’ll do it sometimes. It’s strange that dust would cause a
specific problem like that. Maybe it also just needed to be reloaded into
    the player. Don’t know.

You know, Batman and Godzilla have a parallel history together.

But Twentieth Century Fox also released the movie. How did Warner Brothers
let them release the movie on DVD and Blu-ray, but not the show?

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! The old Batman show is, obviously, very near
and dear to me, so this video was made to both encapsulate the love me and
many others have for the show and hopefully create some new fans who never
    liked it.

Hey, no problem! This movie and TV show has that effect on people of a
certain age. Hopefully we’ll see a DVD or possibly even a Blu-Ray release
in our lifetime. Things aren’t looking up at this point, though.

Also, it’s been said that the competing studios might be a reason too. The
TV series and movie were created before Batman and DC Comics became
properties of Warner Brothers. Twentieth Century Fox handled the show, so I
think there’s been a bit of a war over who gets to distribute this certain
Batman property. Funny enough, the old 1940s movie serials that were
produced by Columbia Pictures came out several years ago with no problem at
    all.

The disc just wasn’t working right. I cleaned it with some cloth and it
works fine now. Must have been a little bit of dust.

Holy crap, 81 minutes! This is more like a small documentary than a regular
review 😀 They really need to release the show on Blu Ray too! The public
    demands it!!!!
